Pavilion of Saudi Arabia

This pavilion consist of a network of metal tubes and blocks of concrete. Several walls of baked clay encloses a large tent which covers the exhibition area, an oasis with palm trees and a wall of water. Designed with brilliant colored Bedouin blankets used to cover the patio and roof, the pavilion becomes an enormous tribute to the variety of Saudi Arabia and its rich legacy of artisans.
